Summary of AI Content Posting

U.S. President Donald Trump posted a large volume of AI-generated images and a series of expansive, unverified assertions on Truth Social on Sunday. The 80-year-old commander in chief spent over 10 hours on the platform, disseminating dozens of seemingly artificial posts. These posts included sweeping statements regarding his financial successes and unsubstantiated claims concerning the economies of foreign nations, particularly Iran.

The content featured various depictions, such as an image showing him on horseback alongside George Washington, and another featuring Robert De Niro holding a shirt that read, “Trump is my president.”

Financial and Political Controversies

One notable AI-generated image depicted the president sitting in front of multiple monitors in the White House, supposedly tracking the stock market. The caption associated with the image stated:

I do this for our Country, not myself. I’ve made Hundreds of Billions of Dollars on Stocks, and many other type Holdings, for the U.S.A., not myself, and all I do is get criticized by the Radical Left Dumocrats. Very unfair, but what can you do!

While the post provided no evidence to support this claim, it is noted that the Trump Administration invested a 10% stake in semiconductor giant Intel in August 2025, an investment currently valued at over $50 billion.

Trump has previously faced criticism regarding the “Truth API,” a premium feature on Truth Social that costs $100,000 per month and grants early access to announcements about policy decisions that could influence financial markets. Following this, U.S. Senators petitioned the Securities and Exchange Commission in July, urging an investigation into whether Truth Media, the company operating Truth Social, was violating applicable federal securities laws through this API.

Commenting on the service, Trump Media Interim CEO Kevin McGurn stated, “This was demand that came to us from the market.”

Statements Regarding International Affairs

The posts also contained numerous images and infographics related to foreign conflicts and economies. Specifically, Trump shared multiple AI-generated pictures portraying Iran as being destroyed. These posts included charts without verifiable sources, one of which claimed that Iran’s currency was “destroyed,” and another which labeled the nation on a map as “Iran is a Failing Nation.”

The timing of these posts occurred more than six months after the U.S. and Israel had launched “major combat operations” in Iran. Despite the posts, some experts have maintained caution, suggesting that while Iran’s gross domestic product is thought to have contracted and inflation has risen to historic levels, there is no guarantee of immediate economic collapse.

Other images included depictions of Trump watching explosions from a warship deck or swinging an American-flag-themed hammer toward a map of Iran. One image specifically showed explosions at Kharg Island, captioned, “Bye bye, Kharg.”

Personal and Territorial Manifestations

The content was not limited to foreign policy; Trump also shared several AI-generated images presenting himself in various “action-hero” roles, positioning himself as America’s savior. These depictions ranged from him being flanked by futuristic robots with the Capitol visible in the background, to appearing like a wrestler with a red MAGA cap, and even being shown as the leader of a Space Force command center.

His posts also asserted American dominance over various global locations. Several AI images depicted countries, territories, and natural landmarks as belonging to the U.S. These included showing the Strait of Hormuz labeled as a “new U.S. Territory,” and depicting New Mexico as “New America.” Furthermore, one image claimed ownership of the Moon with the text, “The Moon is Ours,” and another labeled Lake Ontario—a body of water currently shared between the U.S. and Canada—as “Lake America.” This followed an executive order signed by Trump directing the federal government to rename Lake Ontario.

In response to the executive order, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney stated that Canada would continue to refer to the body of water as Lake Ontario.
