During this year’s PAX West convention in Seattle, Washington, NVIDIA made an exception to the typical high pricing of modern graphics cards, making the GeForce RTX 50-Series Founders Edition GPUs available at their Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP).
Founders Edition Pricing Details
Attendees at the event were able to purchase the RTX 50-Series Founders Edition graphics cards at their original, intended costs. The specific models featured included:
- GeForce RTX 5070 Founders Edition: Priced at $549.
- GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition: Listed with an MSRP of $999.
- GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition: The flagship card was set at an MSRP of $1,999.
Market Comparison and Availability
The event pricing was noted as a significant benefit, especially for consumers who missed the initial GPU market purchases before supply shortages inflated costs dramatically. Typically, the market requires substantially higher expenditures for equivalent cards.
