New Bahru Expands with 15 New Tenants: Beams, Dumpling Darlings, Sushiro, and Stacked Store Set to Open
New Bahru, the Singapore lifestyle complex housed in a former school building, is set to welcome 15 new tenants by late April or early May. The developments include both familiar names and emerging brands, further solidifying its position as a dynamic hub for retail, dining, and culture.
New Tenants Enhance Retail and Dining Offerings
The latest additions to New Bahru’s tenant roster span food, lifestyle, and independent retailers. Among the notable entries are Singapore-based Dumpling Darlings, known for its beloved dumplings and noodles; Fico, an Italian restaurant from East Coast set up as a pop-up; and Kios Minang and Kulon, which bring Indonesian culinary traditions to the complex. The space will also host Laifaba, a wood-fired roast-and-noodle eatery, along with Sushiro, a popular Japanese sushi chain.
The dining sector is further diversified by Orh Gao Peh Gao, a local craft beer bar offering rotating taps and casual vibes, and Parlour Gelato for dessert enthusiasts. On the retail front, Beams Japan will open its first standalone store in Singapore outside Lumine Raffles City, while French sustainable shoe brand Veja debuts its inaugural location in the city. Texas-based outdoor gear retailer Yeti will also make a limited-time appearance.
Independent Brands and Pop-Ups Drive Innovation
Store Store, a pop-up platform for independent brands, will rotate through local labels such as Atlas Kind and Source. Homegrown furniture store Stacked Store joins the lineup, adding to the mix of curated retail options. Additionally, future resonance, an unspecified brand, is included in the tenant list.
Current tenants at New Bahru include local label Beyond The Vines, cafe Dear Born, and goods store Sojao. The complex continues to blend independent labels with established names, offering a seamless transition between shopping, dining, and leisure activities.
