Product Introduction and Core Specifications

FEVM has entered the market of high-powered, compact personal computers with the introduction of new mini PC models. These devices are designed to incorporate powerful components, including desktop-grade AMD or Intel CPUs and high-end mobile graphics processing units (GPUs), such as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Mobile.

The company previously gained attention for launching a mini PC powered by AMD’s Strix Halo platform. The new lineup includes the FA80G, which can be equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D, and the FN80G, which offers an Intel Core Ultra 7 270KP alternative. Both models are housed in a remarkably small chassis, measuring just 180 × 168 × 88 mm, and the FA80G variant packs components into as little as a 2.6 L enclosure.

Cooling and GPU Capabilities

FEVM claims that the cooling solutions implemented in both the FA80G and FN80G units are highly efficient. These systems are engineered to maintain optimal operating temperatures, keeping the CPU below 85 °C and the GPU below 80 °C, all while producing noise levels under 42 dB.

The general configuration of the new mini PCs starts with NVIDIA’s RTX 5060 GPUs, with alternative configurations available using the desktop RTX 5060 Ti and 5080 Laptop GPUs. For the models featuring the RTX 5090 Mobile, the graphics processing unit is limited to 150 W, allowing the combined power draw of the CPU and GPU to reach a maximum of 250 W.

Connectivity and Technical Specifications

All models are sold as barebones units, meaning buyers must supply their own RAM and solid-state drives (SSDs). However, the supporting hardware is robust. Both the FN80G and FA80G support up to 128 GB of DDR5 RAM across dual SODIMM slots, presumably configured for dual-channel operation. Furthermore, they include dual 2280 M.2 NVMe slots, offering storage capacity up to 4 TB.

Connectivity differs slightly between the two models: the Intel-based system (FN80G) includes Thunderbolt 4 alongside a combination of 10 GbE and 2.5 GbE networking. Conversely, the AMD system (FA80G) does not feature dedicated Thunderbolt 4 support and is equipped with dual 2.5 GbE ports. Both models share several common features, including Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a variety of ports, including USB Type-C, USB Type-A, and a full-size SD card reader located on the front I/O panel.

Pricing and Purchasing Information

As of the time of reporting, the mini PCs are exclusively available in China. The pricing structure is wide-ranging. The entry-level configuration, utilizing the Core Ultra 5 230F and an RTX 5060 8 GB variant, begins at approximately $1,045. The top-tier option, the FA80G equipped with the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Mobile 24 GB, can cost up to around $3,310.

It is noted that these listed prices are expected to increase when the mini PCs are launched in international markets.
