Moza Racing is preparing to release a simulation racing steering wheel designed to replicate the look and feel of the Ford Mustang GTD. The GTD is notable for being the quickest production version of the Mustang, which was adapted from a muscle car model specifically to lower lap times at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
Product Design and Features
A teaser image has revealed the steering wheel, which is depicted as a mostly round device. Its design incorporates blue stitching, colors reportedly inspired by Ford Racing. Key visible elements include a centering stripe located at the stop point, along with the central hub featuring the iconic galloping feral horse logo and the GTD nameplate (a designation not used on the actual vehicle’s input controls).
However, the full details regarding the replication of the wheel’s functional components, such as the on-wheel buttons and the design of the shift paddles, have not yet been disclosed.
Upcoming Showcases and Partnerships
The unveiling of the Ford Mustang GTD wheel is scheduled for the Cologne event this year, beginning on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. During this same event, Moza Racing plans to debut a dedicated motorcycle simulator endorsed by MotoGP.
Moza Racing has an established history of developing branded equipment for real-world vehicles. At last year’s Gamescom, the company displayed a prototype for a round Porsche 911 GT3-style wheel and also produced the Mission R device. Furthermore, the company confirmed a partnership with Mercedes-AMG at that same event, although this collaboration was not seen a year later.
