Attendees were able to test a variety of high-end equipment that pushes the boundaries of immersion. One notable piece was the SimCraft Apex 6 GT, which carried a substantial price tag of $150,000. According to SimCraft engineers, this system utilizes NASA-style six degrees of freedom (DOF) motion simulation, aiming for the most authentic representation of forces experienced in an actual racing vehicle. The company’s method involves creating a unique ‘neural fingerprint’ during setup to ensure the motion experience perfectly matches the user’s individual sensitivity to movement.

Versatile Controllers
Representing the lower end of the market was the GameSir Swift Drive. Expected to cost around $200 upon its year-end release, this PC and console controller integrates a fully featured, direct drive force feedback steering wheel into a portable unit. The device is noted for being wireless and battery-powered, offering precise force feedback in a design suitable for comfortable, relaxed use.
Motion Platforms
D-BOX specializes in motion platforms, utilizing four actuators that start at approximately $8,000. Unlike the approach of SimCraft, D-BOX integrates a “Hollywood sensibility” into simracing movement. Its software processes real-time game data using an extensive array of additional effects, creating dynamic and spectacular physical simulations.
Vehicle Specific Simulators
For motorcycle enthusiasts, Trak Racer unveiled its first consumer-grade, full-sized motorcycle simulator, priced at €2,000. This system features separated controls for leaning and handlebars, haptic seat vibrations, and foot-operated gear shifting, allowing users to practice high-speed riding safely. While the company acknowledged that the software telemetry could be improved, its introduction was viewed as a major advancement for riders.

Constructed with an aluminum chassis and combining four separate customizable touchscreens with numerous knobs, it allows users to place nearly every conceivable racecar setting at their fingertips.
