System76 has announced the release of its new Adder Pro laptop, which the company promotes as a high-performance machine designed for both gamers and professional mobile workstations.
The Adder Pro features several premium components, including an NVIDIA dedicated graphics option, a vibrant 2K OLED display, support for up to 96GB of RAM, and a relatively light build weight of 3.37 lbs.
Powering the laptop is the Core Ultra 7 356H Panther Lake processor. Users can choose between two powerful discrete graphics options: the GeForce RTX 5060 or the more advanced RTX 5070.
The display itself is a notable feature, offering a 2K resolution with OLED technology that boasts 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and a refresh rate of 165Hz. This combination makes it suitable for demanding tasks whether running intensive games or serving as a professional mobile workstation.
Pricing for the Adder Pro begins at $2499 USD. This starting model includes the GeForce RTX 5060, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB NVMe storage drive. The laptop is available to run on either Pop!_OS or Ubuntu Linux.
