Lenovo introduced the Yoga Pro 7i Gen 11 Aura Edition (15IPH11) as a solution tailored for these demands. This model was developed in collaboration with Intel to enhance the user experience, aiming for a level of personalization and intuition beyond standard computing devices.
Innovative Software Features Enhance Workflow
A standout element of the device is its suite of “Smart Modes,” which dynamically adjust the laptop’s operation based on the user’s current activity. For example, Attention Mode helps users focus by blocking distracting websites. Wellness Mode promotes physical well-being by issuing alerts regarding posture and reminding users to take screen breaks. In public settings, Shield Mode offers security by alerting the owner if someone attempts shoulder surfing, while also automatically locking the PC when the user walks away.
Additional unique features include Smart Share, which enables instant photo synchronization merely by tapping a smartphone against the laptop’s side screen. If technical issues arise, Smart Care provides direct access to live premium support experts from the device itself. Furthermore, the system dynamically manages power in the background, ensuring optimal performance from the Intel Core Ultra processor without compromising operational speed. Beyond software, the Aura Edition emphasizes sustainability through its eco-friendly packaging and use of sustainable materials.
Hardware Specifications and Performance
Under the hood, users can select between two processors: the Core Ultra 7 356H or the Core Ultra 9 386H. While these CPUs share core counts, cache size, iGPU, and NPU capabilities, the 386H operates at slightly higher clock speeds. These Panther Lake CPUs are well-suited for a laptop equipped with a dedicated GPU because the PCIe controller offers 20 lanes—a significant improvement over the 12 lanes found on siblings built solely for integrated Arc graphics.
The review unit was outfitted with an RTX 5060, while the base model option utilizes the RTX 5050. All dedicated GPUs operate at a modest 85 W TGP. In most configurations, Panther Lake models feature soldered memory. Storage is handled by two M.2 slots, and the device boasts comprehensive connectivity, including Wi-Fi 7 and an IR webcam.
The hardware is Intel Evo-certified, which confirms fast boot times, instant wake capabilities, responsive performance, and reliable battery longevity. Connectivity options are robust, featuring dual 10 Gbps USB Type-A/3.2 Gen. 2 ports, two 40 Gbps Thunderbolt 4 ports with DP 2.1/100 W PD capability, one HDMI 2.1 port, an audio combo jack, and an SD card reader (UHS-II).
Display and General Build Details
The display options are versatile: the user can choose between a touchscreen or a non-touch version of the same panel. It is a sharp 15.3-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2560×1600 (16:10), offering a smooth 165 Hz refresh rate. The display supports G-SYNC and promises full DCI-P3 coverage, while also being equipped with DisplayHDR True Black 1000.
The Yoga Pro 7i Aura Edition is powered by Microsoft Windows 11 Home/Pro. Key specifications include:
