A Malaysian collector has announced plans to sell a significant segment of his valuable Pokémon card collection, seeking an alternative deal involving luxury vehicles and substantial cash payments.
Details of the Current Sale
Damiral Imran, a collector reportedly from Penang, publicly posted the details on Facebook on May 1. He revealed that after spending six months building and expanding his hobby assets, he is now offering part of his collection for sale. The portion designated for trade is valued at RM4,687,930.
Instead of an outright cash sale, Mr. Imran specified alternative terms for the transaction. He stated that he would consider trading the entire lot for a Mercedes-AMG vehicle paired with RM3.8 million in physical currency. Furthermore, he confirmed that he has kept RM80,000 readily available to facilitate the successful closure of the deal.
Transaction Logistics
The sale is slated to be finalized through a cash-on-delivery process within Kuala Lumpur. Mr. Imran emphasized his flexibility in finding “the right deal” for his extensive collection.
History of High-Value Sales
This announcement follows another high-profile transaction involving the collector last year. Previously, Damiral Imran made headlines after selling a complete set of Pokémon cards. That sale was valued at RM1.87 million. For that earlier listing, he indicated his preference for receiving a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S alongside RM1,000,000 in cash.
